The Kalamazoo Amateur Radio Club is currently running the tenth ARRL "Big Project" at Winchell Elementary School in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The project, part of the American Radio Relay Leagues Education and Technology Program, meets weekly. The purpose of the program is to introduce amateur radio, promote intereest in electronics and assist or support students who are interested in obtaining an amateur license. Support for this project is has been made possible by individual amateur clubs in Michigan, Kalamazoo Amateur Radio Club, Kalamazoo Public Schools Education Foundation, Winchell PTO and the ARRL MIchigan Section.
